All offline attendees are expected to adhere to the mandatory working hours, which are from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Saturday. Maintaining attendance during these hours is important to ensure smooth operations, productivity, and discipline. Attendees are required to punch in upon arrival and punch out when leaving using the tool provided by the administration. This helps ensure accurate attendance tracking and promotes punctuality. Please note that failure to punch in may result in being marked absent for the day.
Punctuality is an integral aspect of maintaining professional decorum. All attendees are expected to arrive at the workspace on time, no later than 9:00 AM. In the event of a delay due to significant or unavoidable reasons, attendees are required to complete the official Late Arrival Notification Form before 9:00 AM and subsequently report to the workspace by 10:00 AM. Failure to fulfill this protocol will result in restricted access to the workspace for the day, and the absence will be recorded as full-day leave.
Attendees are encouraged to demonstrate their commitment by staying at the workspace until the scheduled working hours conclude. If an attendee anticipates the need to leave early due to compelling reasons, early departure is permissible only after 4:30 PM. In such cases, attendees must complete the Early Departure Form and notify their assigned batch counselor in advance. This process facilitates appropriate planning and ensures minimal disruption to operational workflows. Failure to adhere to this procedure will result in the day’s absence being classified as full-day leave.
Attendees must avoid repeated late arrivals or early leave patterns to promote consistency, attendance stability, and optimal productivity. Any instance of arriving late or leaving early more than once per week, regardless of the reason, will lead to restricted entry and be treated as a full-day leave for that day.
To sustain uninterrupted workflow and concentration, attendees are required to avoid taking breaks during the critical period between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. If an attendee requires a break exceeding one hour at any time during the day, prior notification to the batch counselor is mandatory, and approval must be obtained.
Half-day leave requests must be submitted on time. Attendees intending to take a half-day leave must complete and submit the official Half-Day Leave Form before 9:00 AM on the day in question. Upon approval, the attendee must report to the workspace no later than 1:30 PM. Failure to fulfill this directive will result in the denial of workspace access for the entire day, with the absence recorded as full-day leave.
All remote attendees are required to maintain a professional and conducive environment for their participation in the program. This includes having access to a fully functional laptop based on the decided domain, a high-speed internet connection with a minimum bandwidth of 100 Mbps, and a workspace that is free from distractions. Ensuring these prerequisites is critical to seamless participation and productive engagement in all program activities.
Remote attendees and attendees in the foundation period must dedicate a minimum of eight (8) hours per day to the program. This includes two distinct time slots, totaling four (4) hours each, one of which at least one slot must fall within standard office hours, i.e., 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (IST). These dedicated slots are crucial for facilitating meetings, reviews, communication sessions, and collaborative activities. Failure to adhere to these time commitments, including attendance at mandatory communication sessions and scheduled meetings, will result in the day being recorded as absent.
Attendees are required to install and utilize a monitoring tool for tracking daily attendance and activity. The monitoring tool serves as a comprehensive mechanism to log attendees’ login and logout times, ensuring strict adherence to attendance requirements and participation benchmarks. Attendees must ensure that its installation is completed promptly when instructed. Compliance with monitoring protocols is non-negotiable.
The subscription fee for the monitoring tool will be free for the initial one year. For candidates whose program durations are exceeding 12 Months, attendees are required to make monthly payments for the extended duration. Failure to make timely payments for these additional weeks will result in reviews and other assessments being placed on hold until all outstanding dues are cleared.
As part of the program’s structured attendance policy, both offline and remote attendees are entitled to a maximum of two days of approved leave per calendar month. Leave requests must be submitted through the designated leave application form before 9:00 AM IST on the day of intended absence. Attendance records of remote attendees will be meticulously tracked via the monitoring tool in conjunction with participation metrics from meetings and scheduled sessions.
Requests for leave extending beyond the two-day monthly allowance necessitate prior approval from the assigned batch counselor. Such requests must be formally communicated via email and must include:
Exact dates of the requested leave.
Justification for the leave request.
Any relevant supporting documentation.
Approval of extended leave requests is contingent upon verification of the validity of the provided reasons and documentation.
Attendees are reminded of the importance of providing accurate and up-to-date personal information, including contact details of parents/ guardians. Ensuring the validity and accuracy of these details is crucial for maintaining effective communication and operational efficiency.
A commitment to maintaining exemplary attendance is fundamental to the program’s ethos. Offline and remote attendees must uphold a minimum attendance rate of 90% throughout the program.
The first 4 weeks of the program will constitute the Foundation.
Additional Notes on Professionalism and Conduct:
Attendees must exhibit professional behavior and uphold the integrity of the program at all times.
Collaborative and respectful engagement with peers and counselors is mandatory.
Attendees are responsible for ensuring the reliability and security of their technological setups to avoid potential disruptions like network instability, connectivity problems, and laptop malfunctions, to maintain a smooth learning experience.
Active engagement and timely participation in all program activities are fundamental to the attendee’s successful progression through the curriculum.
Accurate and up-to-date personal contact information must be maintained at all times to facilitate effective communication with program administrators and batch counselors.
The academic operations of attendees are facilitated through third-party software services or Brototype’s proprietary software, designed to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of all academic processes. Attendees are required to use the designated platform to maintain seamless functionality and a streamlined academic experience.
Batch Counselors
The batch counselors serve as the primary point of contact for attendees, offering essential support and personalized guidance on various academic matters. This includes assistance with attendance-related queries, domain switches, review discussions, clarifying doubts about tasks, and addressing any other academic concerns that may arise. Batch counselors play a crucial role in fostering a supportive learning environment by closely monitoring the progress of each attendee, ensuring they stay on track and achieve their goals. Their dedicated efforts are aimed at enhancing the overall learning experience and helping attendees navigate their academic journey with confidence.
To ensure a smooth learning experience, attendees are kindly requested to clear all fees or payments due within the timeframe provided. In case of any pending dues beyond the specified period, the program may be temporarily paused and will resume once the payment is completed.
The program follows the Brototype Research and Outcome-oriented (BRO) learning method. It is an approach that engages attendees in research-based activities, aiming to achieve measurable outcomes by applying knowledge to solve real-world problems through guided self-learning.
Duration
The program spans 52 weeks of tasks and 52 additional review days, emphasizing timely task completion to ensure consistent academic progress and skill development.
The program is designed to be completed within 30 months from the date of fee payment to support consistent learning and ensure timely completion. Support and guidance will no longer be available after this period.
Attendees are advised to remember this when making decisions regarding batch joining, taking breaks, refresh periods, cool-off periods, missing or not attending reviews, and any absences.
If attendees wish to continue beyond the initial 30 months, they may do so by paying an additional fee of ₹7,000/- (Including GST) per each remaining week, which will grant them access for a specified extended duration.
Offline attendees are required to present themselves in formal attire during their time on the office premises, and remote attendees are required to present themselves in formal attire during meetings, reviews, communication sessions, and all collaborative activities of the program. Adherence to formal attire is required for all participants, even in virtual meetings, to maintain professionalism and proper etiquette. This practice ensures consistency and contributes to long-term improvements in professional behaviour.
All attendees are required to keep their cameras and mic turned on throughout online communication sessions and any related virtual meetings. This measure is intended to promote active engagement, ensure attentiveness, and enable trainers to provide personalized feedback based on visual cues.
Attendees who do not meet this requirement may receive warnings and could be marked absent for the session. Consistent non-compliance may require additional corrective measures to ensure alignment with program expectations.
The ID card serves as proof of authorization and ensures seamless access to designated areas within the premises. Therefore, offline attendees are required to wear their official ID cards at all times while on the office premises.
Attendees must ensure the safekeeping of their ID cards and are strictly prohibited from sharing or lending them to unauthorized individuals. Misuse or loss of the ID card must be reported immediately to the Administration Department. A charge may apply for replacing a lost ID card.
Upon successful Placement after completion of the program, voluntary withdrawal, termination, or transition to a remote batch, attendees are required to promptly return their ID card to the program administrators. Failure to return the ID card may result in applicable charges.
Each offline attendee will be assigned a specific workstation for the duration of the program. It is the responsibility of the attendee to occupy and utilize only the designated workspace. Unauthorized use of another attendee's workstation is strictly prohibited.
Offline attendees must maintain cleanliness and orderliness at their assigned workstations. Personal belongings should be arranged neatly to ensure a clutter-free workspace that promotes efficiency and focus.
Any damage to the workstation or office property, whether accidental or intentional, may result in temporary denial of entry to the hub/workstation and may require payment for repair or replacement costs. Attendees can regain access after settling any outstanding dues.
Attendees are advised to store personal belongings securely and exercise caution while bringing valuables to the office. Brototype assumes no liability for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items stored or left unattended within the premises.
Lockers or other secure storage options, if provided, are to be used at the attendee's discretion. Proper usage guidelines for such facilities must be followed at all times.
Access to office premises is limited to designated spaces and authorized areas. Attendees must refrain from entering restricted zones without prior approval from the administration. Trespassing into unauthorized areas constitutes a serious violation of program policies.
Attendees are expected to respect the boundaries and rules set forth for different sections of the premises, including common areas, meeting rooms, and other facilities.
A facilitation charge covers essential expenses like utilities, workspace maintenance, internet, drinking water, air conditioning, and other support services to enhance the program experience, and It is only applicable for offline candidates.
Attendees have the option to pay the facilitation fee either as a one-time payment or through monthly payments. Attendees who have passed the foundation can continue the program only after completing the facilitation fee payment.

In cases of delayed facilitation charge payments, the following penalties and restrictions will apply:
Weekly reviews and other assessments will be placed on hold until all outstanding dues are cleared.
A daily penalty of ₹200 will be levied for each day of delay beyond the payment due date.
The monthly facilitation charge is due by the 3rd of each month till the program completion. Entry to the hub/workstation will be restricted if the payment is not cleared by the 5th of each month. Attendees who complete their payments after this date can regain access by clearing the due amount along with the applicable fine.
It is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure timely payments and maintain financial compliance throughout the program.
The monthly facilitation charge is subject to periodic revision based on industry standards and the selected location.
The Foundation Period will be conducted exclusively online, spanning four (4) weeks. This structured phase includes weekly evaluations designed to assess and reinforce attendees' understanding and progress.
Attendees must have a laptop and proper internet connection.
Attendees need to participate in tech sessions, communication sessions, meetings, and all reviews in proper formal attire.
Before Prior to entering the Foundation Period, it is mandatory for all attendees to complete the designated workshop.
If an attendee skips a day/session in the workshop, they will be moved to the next batch, and their first attempt will be marked as failed.
The Foundation Period starts on the very next day after the workshop.
All attendees are encouraged to engage with the Foundation Period in a manner that reflects dedication, professionalism, and a commitment to self-improvement. Active participation in sessions, timely submission of tasks, and collaborative engagement with peers and mentors are essential for success.
Attendees should proactively seek clarification or assistance from their batch counselor or designated mentors if they encounter difficulties. Leveraging available resources and support mechanisms will enhance the likelihood of successful completion of the Foundation Period.
Attendees are encouraged to actively participate in the daily communication sessions at their workspaces/hubs, as these are designed to strengthen skills and build a solid foundation for the next stages of the program.
Attendees will receive daily communication tasks, including written and audio tasks. The submission time will be 11:00 PM (IST).
Communication Reviews During the Four-Week Foundation Period:
Week 1: A group review for evaluating collaborative communication skills and teamwork
Week 2: An individual review to assess each participant’s communication abilities and identify areas for improvement.
Week 3: A group review to build on progress made during the first group review.
Week 4: A major review that considers all prior reviews (Weeks 1–3) as mock reviews to prepare participants for a final assessment of their overall communication performance during the Foundation Period.
If an attendee faces challenges in English communication during the Final Foundation Review, they will have the opportunity to undergo a six-week probation period to enhance their communication skills. During this phase, attendees have to participate in specially assigned sessions and complete tasks tailored to address specific areas for improvement, ensuring their progress and success.
Attendees are expected to dedicate a minimum of eight (8) hours per day to the program in the Foundation. This includes two (2) distinct time slots, totaling four (4) hours each, one of which must fall within standard office hours (9:00 AM to 5:30 PM IST). This arrangement facilitates seamless scheduling of meetings, communication & technical sessions, and collaborative activities.
Failure to follow the assigned working hours, or non-participation in requisite sessions and reviews, will be recorded as an absence. Attendees are encouraged to proactively communicate any challenges or constraints to their batch counselor to mitigate potential issues.
Attendees must complete the daily workouts given by the Tech team and Communication Team.
Attendees are encouraged to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 90% throughout the Foundation Period to ensure a successful learning experience. Attendance is assessed based on participation in technical and communication sessions, as well as weekly reviews. Non-compliance with these attendance standards will adversely impact progression within the program.
Attendees with a minimum attendance rate of 90% during the Foundation Period will be eligible to participate in the Final Foundation Test.
If attendees need to take additional leaves during the Foundation Period, they are needed to seek permission from the respective authorities in advance.
If an attendee fails the Foundation Test, they can join in the very next batch to increase the probability of success in their next attempt.
If attendee fails to attend mock reviews or foundation reviews, they will be moved to the next batch, and the current attempt will be marked as failed.
Attendees who passed the Foundation are required to continue the program on the very next intake date. Intake date will be communicated through official communication channels. Delays or postponements are not recommended.
Attendees are encouraged to finalize their domains during their batch’s domain discussion sessions.
After passing the foundation, attendees must maintain consistent daily learning hours in the monitoring tool — a minimum of 8 hours for online learners and 6 hours for offline learners. This will be monitored by batch counselors to ensure progress and support. Continued participation requires meeting these learning standards.
The four-week Foundation Period is structured as follows:
Weeks 1–3: Mock reviews are conducted to simulate the final evaluation process, providing attendees with opportunities to identify and address areas requiring improvement.
Week 4: The Foundation Period concludes with the Final Foundation Test. Attendees who achieve a passing score of five (5) out of ten (10) will be eligible to advance to the next week of the program.
Attendees failing the Final Foundation Test during their initial attempt will be transitioned to the next available batch. Such attendees are permitted up to two (2) additional Foundation Periods to qualify, thereby allowing a total of three (3) attempts to pass the Final Foundation Test.
If an attendee uses all three (3) permissible attempts without qualifying, they’ll enter into the Foundation PRP (Performance Recovery Period). Through this, we encourage them to take a step back, reflect, and focus on improvement. They will have the option to take the Final Foundation Test independently for a fee of ₹500/- per test. While these independent attempts will not include technical support, communication assistance, or program guidance, attendees are encouraged to prepare confidently on their own. Once they clear the particular test, all support will be fully restored, helping them to move forward with renewed confidence.
Attendees who are confident in their basic programming fundamentals have the option to directly take the Foundation Test in any of their three (3) allotted attempts by paying a fee of ₹500 at any point during their foundation period. If the attendee successfully qualifies for the test, the ₹500 fee will be fully refunded. However, if they do not qualify, the ₹500 fee will not be refunded, and the attempt will be counted as failed. This option provides a flexible pathway for those confident in their skills.
The reviews during the program will be conducted on online video call platforms. Attendees must keep the camera and mic turned on throughout the entire review conducted during the program.
Weekly reviews are scheduled on a fixed day corresponding to the week number throughout the program. The review dates and time will be communicated in advance. Brototype reserves the right to modify the scheduled days if necessary.
Offline attendees are expected to attend all scheduled reviews from their assigned workspace to ensure an optimal learning experience, as remote attendance is not permitted.
Attendees can raise a concern about their review results up to 10 times during the program. Updates on concerns will be provided within 2 days. If the concern is found to be genuine, the limit will remain unaffected. However, if the QA Team determines that the concern is not valid after a thorough review, the remaining concern limit will be reduced.
The reviews may be divided into multiple sessions if needed to ensure that each topic is addressed by reviewers with specialized expertise. This approach is designed to provide attendees with the best possible understanding and learning experience for the subject matter. Attendees need to achieve the minimum pass mark in all divided review sessions to clear the respective week's review.
All attendees must complete the assigned tasks for each week within seven (7) days from the date of task issuance, with reviews conducted on the 8th day.
Upon completing the tasks, attendees must upload their deliverables to their designated platform, no later than 11:00 PM (IST) on the day immediately preceding the scheduled review day. Timely submissions are mandatory and form the basis for eligibility to participate in the weekly review process.
Access to program resources and reviews may be temporarily paused if there are any outstanding dues in fees, including payments through third-party financing companies. Resolving these dues promptly will help ensure uninterrupted access to all program benefits.
To successfully move to the next week, attendees are encouraged to aim for a minimum qualifying score of five (5) out of ten (10) during the review process. This requirement ensures fair and consistent evaluation standards for all participants, supporting their growth and progress.
If an attendee fails to secure the minimum qualifying score in the review, it will be considered as a Week Repeat and they shall be required to reattempt the tasks assigned for the same week and participate in a subsequent review session after a mandatory interval of Six (6) days, subject to adherence to submission protocols.
Attendees who fail a week’s review can attend the first repeat review for free. However, if they require additional repeat reviews for the same week, a condonation fee of ₹1,000/- will apply for each subsequent review. If the combined total of repeat reviews, week extensions, and paid repeat reviews exceeds the limit of 24 after passing the foundation, the attendee will be required to pay the condonation fee of ₹1,000 for each subsequent repeat review.
If an attendee faces challenges and does not clear the particular week’s review after three consecutive attempts will be moved to the PRP (Performance Recovery Period). Through this, we encourage them to take a step back, reflect, and focus on improvement. During this time, access to the workspace and academic resources will be paused to allow them to prepare effectively from a location of their choice. Once they clear the particular review, all access will be fully restored, supporting them to move forward with renewed confidence.
The Condonation Fee payment must be made no less than two (2) days before the scheduled review date. Failure to comply with this payment requirement will result in the forfeiture of the attendee’s eligibility to participate in the review.
Attendees who are unable to attend a scheduled review on the designated date may request a postponement or a one-week extension. A review can be postponed for a maximum of two days, or the attendee may request a week's extension to reschedule the review for the following week, subject to the following conditions:
The request must be based on a genuine emergency.
The request must be communicated to both the Batch Counselor and the Review Coordinator at least two (2) days before the scheduled review date.
If a review is postponed, the next review date will be adjusted by subtracting the postponed days from the next review date.
Consecutive two-week review postponements and week extensions are not promoted.
If the above stipulations are not met, the attendee will have the opportunity to attend the review in the subsequent week.
Attendees who are unable to attend a scheduled review on time will have the review considered failed. They will have the opportunity to attend the review in the following week.
Attendees are encouraged to meet the minimum required hours (3.2.11) on the monitoring tool for at least two days a week. Reviews will be put on hold if these criteria are not met.
Upon exceeding the limit mentioned in 4.3.3, the attendee will be subject to the following Quality Assurance (QA) process.
QA Meeting : If the attendee exceeds the limit mentioned in 4.3.3, a Quality Assurance (QA) meeting shall be conducted to evaluate the attendee's performance, progress, and suitability to continue in the program.
QA Meeting Outcomes : Attendees who successfully clear the QA assessment will receive additional repeat reviews for continued support and learning. Those in the second project phase will be granted five weeks of repeat reviews, while all others will receive three weeks. However, the payments for repeat reviews after exceeding the limit will be applicable as mentioned in 4.3.3. In case the QA assessment is not cleared, the attendee will have the opportunity to undergo a refresh period, choosing between one or two months based on their preference. During this period, the following measures will be in place:
The attendees will have no access to Brototype services, sessions, mentorship, or any physical/ online spaces.
A one-time mandatory Post Refresh Review must be attended after the chosen refresh period ends.
Attendees can choose to attend the Post Refresh Review early, even before their refresh period ends, by paying ₹1000. This amount won’t be refunded, no matter the result of the review.
After completing the granted week repeats, they must undergo another QA assessment. Based on the result, they will be granted either additional weeks or moved to the Refresh period, following the same procedure.
Post Refresh Review : After the completion of the refresh period, the attendee must attend a Post-Refresh Review. If the attendee’s performance remains unsatisfactory or they fail to attend the review, the attendee will be placed on a 6-month cool-off period, during which they will have no access to Brototype services, guidance, or physical/online spaces.
Post Cool-Off Review : During the 6-month cool-off period, the attendee must attend a Post Cool-Off Review by paying ₹2500/- for each review attempt. The attendee can attempt the review multiple times within the 6 months, provided the fee is paid for each attempt.
Course Continuation Process : Attendees must inform the Brototype of their readiness and willingness to rejoin by sending a course continuation request email to the respective counselor's email ID at the end of the refresh/cool-off periods to initiate the course continuation procedure. If there is no update from the attendee within two weeks after the end of the refresh/cool-off periods or failure to attend the mandatory Post Refresh/ cool-off Reviews, it will be considered a voluntary withdrawal from the program and may result in the removal of enrollment without further notice.
An Intake Review is conducted to assess an attendee's preparedness and readiness to progress to the next week's review. It evaluates the attendee's overall knowledge from the first week up to the most recently attended week. If an attendee misses scheduled reviews for two (2) consecutive weeks in any case, they are required to attend the Intake Review.
Attendees who do not pass the intake review will have the opportunity to take a repeat intake review by remitting a condonation fee of ₹1000/- for each attempt. Payments should be made at least two (2) days before the scheduled intake review date to ensure smooth processing.
Intake reviews will either be conducted on the next scheduled review date, or the batch counselor will inform attendees of the possible intake review date. Attendees are expected to be well-prepared for the review, as the intake review date will be communicated in advance.
If an attendee fails two consecutive intake reviews, the QA team will have the discretion to decide on the next course of action.
Attendees are required to participate in monthly LeetCode-based tests to enhance problem-solving skills. In cases where an attendee fails the LeetCode-based test, their reviews will be placed on hold until they successfully qualify in a retest.
Attendees can attend the retest after a minimum interval of 3 days. Attendees must complete the retest within 1 week of the original test date. If an attendee fails the retest, they will be eligible for another retest within 1 week.
If an attendee fails to qualify in the LeetCode-based test and the review hold exceeds 14 days, the attendee will be required to participate in an intake review to assess their progress in the program after qualifying the LeetCode test to attend the next week's review.
Attendees are permitted to switch domains only with approval from the QA Team.
If attendees choose to switch their domain after completing Week 5, a fee of ₹7,000/- (Including GST) will apply for each week up to the most recent review attended. This ensures a smooth transition and enables attendees to revisit the same weeks in the new domain with comprehensive support.
Requests for domain switching must be submitted via email to the respective counselor, with a CC to the QA Head, and should include the reason for the transition.
Approval for the domain switch will be contingent on feedback from the QA meeting and will be subject to evaluation.
Attendees enrolled in offline batches have the option to switch to a remote batch between the 12th and 40th weeks of the program, subject to prior approval.
Approval for the switching is based on the attendee’s academic performance and is subject to a thorough evaluation by the assigned batch Counselor.
Attendees enrolled in offline batches who wish to switch to a remote batch must submit their request via email between the 15th and 25th day of the month. The request must include a genuine and clearly stated reason, along with supporting documentation. A parent meeting is mandatory as part of the process. Final approval for the batch switch will be at the sole discretion of the counselor, based on the validity of the request and submitted documents.
Upon approval, attendees must comply with all remote batch-specific guidelines and requirements.
Once all procedures and payments are completed, a remote conversion meeting will be conducted by the Remote Associate Counselors, and the attendee will be officially transferred to the Remote batch on the 1st of the following month.
During a remote batch switch, the facilitation fee paid will be on hold and it will be adjusted when attendees rejoin as offline candidates or will be refunded only after successful completion of the program.
Attendees are encouraged to consistently converse in English during communication sessions and within the workspace. This practice is intended to enhance fluency and build confidence in professional interactions.
Starting from the 7th week, all reviews will be conducted in English to help attendees build confidence and enhance their communication skills. While the use of English is encouraged from the beginning, it will become mandatory from the 12th week onward to support attendees' professional growth.
Attendees are required to participate in daily One-hour communication sessions conducted by designated trainers or student coordinators. These sessions are structured to enhance verbal and written communication proficiency, with a focus on fostering effective interaction skills.
Attendance at communication sessions is mandatory. Failure to attend these sessions will result in the day being recorded as full-day leave. Any absence must be justified with prior communication via email and approval from the assigned trainer.
The communication training is conducted in a hybrid mode, with both online and offline sessions for offline attendees and exclusively online training for remote attendees. Hence, attendees are expected to adhere to their designated mode of training to ensure effective participation and continuous improvement.
Daily tasks, including audio notes and other tasks assigned by the trainers, must be submitted no later than 11:00 PM (IST) each day. These submissions are critical for tracking individual progress and ensuring consistent practice. These works are meant for individual practice, and they will not be corrected by the trainer. However, weak attendees will be guided.
Delays in submission will be recorded as non-compliance and may adversely impact the attendee’s standing in the program. Exceptions, if any, must be communicated via email to the trainer in advance and supported by valid reasons.
If an attendee has a scheduled technical review during the communication session time, they are required to proactively communicate with the trainer via email to arrange an alternative session time. This rescheduling must be finalized at least one day in advance.
Attendees are strictly prohibited from skipping communication sessions due to reviews unless explicitly permitted under exceptional circumstances.
Communication Reviews will be conducted by trainers at predefined intervals, specifically during weeks 6, 18, 30, 40, and 49 in the program. These reviews are designed to evaluate progress and identify areas requiring improvement, and attendance in these periodic reviews is mandatory.
Attendees who face challenges in communication skills, as reflected in their performance during communication reviews, will be provided with supplementary tasks and sessions tailored to address specific areas for improvement. Participation in these activities is essential, and trainers will closely support and monitor progress, and failure to show improvement may result in holding reviews.
If an attendee fails to score at least 50% in the communication probation period assessment, but has shown considerable improvements will be given another chance to attend another Probation Period Assessment after 4 weeks, and attendees need to show improvements during this period.
Attendees who are not fulfilling communication probation requirements, including failure to show measurable improvement, will result in a hold on subsequent reviews and further disciplinary actions.
Boarding Week is a 12-day intensive interview training program designed to equip Brocamp attendees with the skills and confidence needed to excel in job interviews and boost their chances of being hired. Attendance during the boarding weeks is compulsory. Attendees are strictly prohibited from taking breaks before or during the boarding weeks.
Postponement of boarding week reviews will not be entertained under any circumstances. All the projects completed by the attendee during the program must be live before the Boarding Week reviews.
Attendance during the Boarding Weeks following the final project is essential to ensure a smooth transition. Attendees are required to complete the Boarding Week Screening to participate in these weeks. There will be three attempts available to clear the Boarding Week Screening. There will be various tasks and activities for attendees who fail the Boarding Week Screening, and it is essential to act on feedback and participate in these improvement opportunities.
During the boarding weeks, participants are required to diligently complete their daily assigned tasks before 11:00 PM (IST). Non-compliance or delay with this requirement will result in delayed access to the next day’s tasks and eventually to the shifting of their batches in the boarding week.
In addition to completing daily tasks, attending the daily meetings conducted by trainers is mandatory. In the event of unavoidable circumstances that prevent attendance, participants are kindly requested to send an email explaining the reason. This ensures smooth communication and continued engagement.
Attendees are encouraged to successfully clear the Mock TOI within a maximum of three attempts. For those who are unable to clear it within these attempts, additional sessions and guidance will be provided to support their improvement. A final opportunity will then be offered to attempt the Mock TOI and achieve success.
TOI is the final review of the program and includes all the concepts that the attendee has studied throughout the program. The TOI is a comprehensive evaluation designed to assess attendees' preparedness for job placements in the industry. It is mandatory to pass the TOI for the successful completion of the program.
Attendees have up to three (3) attempts to participate in the TOI, ensuring ample chance to succeed.
The TOI consists of two parts: the HR round and the technical round. To proceed to the technical round, attendees must successfully clear the HR round. If the HR round is not cleared in the first attempt, the attempt will be considered a failure, and attendees will have two more opportunities to succeed.
Attendees can participate in TOI after completing the 12-day tasks during the Boarding Weeks and successfully passing the Mock TOI. These steps are thoughtfully designed to ensure attendees are well-prepared and aligned with their placement goals.
To qualify in the TOI, attendees are encouraged to meet all the following minimum criteria:
Achieve a minimum score of 6 out of 10 in each of the following areas: Technical Skills, Communication, Project Evaluation, and Conceptual Clarity.
Achieve a minimum of 3 out of 5 is required in the Practical Evaluation, assessed separately based on the attendee’s domain expertise.
Achieve an overall score of 6 out of 10 is also mandatory in Technical Overall, Communication Overall, and TOI Overall—each representing the average of individual evaluations across respective areas.

Brototype reserves the right to modify any provision in its policies and guidelines at any time without any prior notice or obligation to notify attendees.

Brototype is committed to providing guidance and support to all attendees seeking job placements after completing their training. The following terms and conditions outline the eligibility criteria, responsibilities, and expectations for accessing placement support services provided by Brototype.
To receive placement support from the Placement Team, attendees are encouraged to complete the Take-Off Interview (TOI), which serves as an important step toward unlocking placement opportunities.
Attendees are strictly advised to accept job offers only after successfully qualifying in the TOI. If a job offer is accepted before meeting the TOI qualification, the Placement Team, in coordination with the QA Team, will evaluate and decide whether the offer will be considered a valid placement. Non-compliance with this guideline may result in the withdrawal of future placement assistance and access to alumni networks.
Once an attendee qualifies in the TOI, they will become eligible for job placement assistance through Brototype’s Placement Cell. This includes access to job referrals, interview coordination, resume reviews, and other resources offered by the Placement Team.
In cases where an attendee’s TOI results are invalidated due to non-compliance with the placement process, the Placement Team reserves the right to withdraw placement assistance until the attendee requalifies by retaking the TOI.
Any breaks from the Placement Cell are subject to approval by the Placement Officer in the Placement Cell. Attendees must submit a request for approval via email, detailing the reason for the break.
Breaks exceeding two weeks will require attendees to re-qualify for the Placement Cell by passing the TOI again, ensuring their readiness and alignment with placement opportunities.
The final decision on job offers and placements rests with the employer, as it is determined by their recruitment process. Brototype is dedicated to providing extensive support and resources to help attendees excel in their placement journey, ensuring they are well-prepared for every opportunity. Ultimately, the employer’s evaluation and selection process will shape the outcome, but Brototype remains committed to empowering attendees every step of the way.
Resume Verification and Portfolio Building
Creating and submitting an ATS-friendly resume and addressing any issues highlighted by the Placement Coordinator within 3 days.
Completion of the attendee’s portfolio in the attendee portal to generate an attendee verification link, which serves as a Brototype certification.
Additional time beyond 3 days does not count toward the 12-month placement tenure related to the money-back policy.
Dedicated Placement Persona for Assistance and Guidance
Each attendee will have a dedicated Placement Officer and Coordinator for personalized guidance. The Placement Officer assists with interview preparation, offer negotiations, and decision-making, while the Coordinator manages back-and-forth communication and interview updates.
Active Participation in Placement Probation
Placement Probation is designed to help candidates understand the placement process and gain hands-on experience in tackling the job hunt journey. It is a fifteen (15) day program where each attendee is instructed to reach out to companies, apply on their own with a customized plan, and secure interviews. By doing this, each candidate will understand the basics of how the market works and how to increase their odds of getting interviews.
Clear and Transparent Communication
Attendees are instructed to provide clear and timely updates regarding interviews, machine tests, and offers with the assigned officer or coordinator, This ensures that the entire placement process is smooth and streamlined.
Attendees should not accept or reject any offers that they received through the placement team without discussing them with the placement team. This is to avoid any sort of miscommunication between any of the parties involved.
Attendees should not further negotiate an offer with an interviewing company without prior instruction from the placement team.
Attendees should keep a professional attitude and behaviour towards the placement team as well as the interviewing companies; failure to do so may result in strict disciplinary actions.
Active Job Applications
Continuously apply for job opportunities until successfully placed.
Continuously reach out to recruiters and founders through LinkedIn and other professional platforms as part of the placement process.
Job Interview Preparation
Prepare thoroughly for interviews, and maintain readiness for interviews at all times to avoid missed opportunities.
Practice and revise domain knowledge daily by taking mock interviews using Chat GPT and other tools, and share them in the respective placement group.
Adherence to all the Placement Guidelines
Attendees are expected to adhere to all placement guidelines established by the Placement Team. Each process within the Placement Cell is carefully designed based on active market research and insights from client companies, alumni, and a global network of developers. Updates to the guidelines are thoughtfully implemented to support attendees in securing jobs within the IT industry.
Maintaining Code of Conduct
Attendees are expected to uphold a high standard of professionalism and integrity throughout the placement process. Violating these principles can lead to serious consequences. This includes, but is not limited to:
If an employer informs Brototype of any dishonest behavior during an interview, such as using unauthorized aids or providing false information, it may result in immediate termination of the placement process.
Attendees have to collaborate with the Placement Team before negotiating job offers. Engaging the Placement Team ensures a professional and coordinated approach that preserves strong relationships with Brototype’s partner companies and safeguards future opportunities for all participants.
Failing to appear for interviews without a valid reason or treating interview opportunities carelessly is considered a violation of Brototype’s code of conduct. This includes missing interviews without prior notice or not putting in sufficient effort to prepare and perform well.
Any form of unprofessional conduct, such as inappropriate communication, disrespectful behavior towards employers or fellow attendees, or not adhering to the placement guidelines, can result in disciplinary action, including removal from the placement process.
The Placement Team will assist attendees by:
Offering job referrals to potential employers.
Coordinating interview schedules with potential employers.
Offering feedback and coaching to improve job search strategies and interview performance.
Providing updates and communication about placement opportunities.
Conducting periodic evaluations to ensure continued alignment with job requirements.
Offering support through performance reviews and improvement plans, when necessary.
If an attendee does not secure an opportunity within two (2) months of completing the Take Off Interview (TOI) or after receiving rejections in ten (10) job interviews, whichever comes first, they will be enrolled in the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).
PIP Reviews will be conducted monthly, starting from the second month post-TOI, and will continue each month thereafter until the completion of the 12-month placement tenure. Attendance and active participation in each PIP Review are mandatory to continue receiving support and opportunities within the Placement Cell.
Attendees must qualify for the PIP Review to re-enter the Placement Cell. The PIP Review is designed as an interview-like evaluation to help attendees revisit and revise all topics learned and reflect on their skills and knowledge. An attendee will have three (3) attempts to clear the PIP Review.
First Attempt
The first PIP review must be completed within 2-3 days of
moving to PIP status. This review will assess the attendee’s
progress and readiness for job placement. The Placement Team
may adjust the review date if there are any ongoing
interviews present at the time of moving to PIP status.
Second Attempt
A second review will be conducted within 1 week following
the first attempt. This provides attendees with an
opportunity to improve based on the feedback provided during
the first review.
Third Attempt
If necessary, a third and final attempt will be conducted,
with 1 week of preparation time following the second
attempt.
The preparation time during the PIP process will not be counted toward the 12-month placement tenure. This ensures that the timeline for the completion of the placement tenure is not affected by the PIP process.
If an attendee fails to complete any of the PIP reviews after three attempts, the Placement Team, along with the QA Team, will conduct a comprehensive review of the attendee's situation. Based on this review, the Placement Team will determine the next steps, which may include cessation of further placement assistance.
If an attendee is intentionally delaying or not cooperating with the requirement to attend the PIP review, or if they are intentionally unwilling to attend it, they will be removed from the placement cell. This will result in their ineligibility for future placement assistance and access to the alumni network.
PIP Meeting
A meeting with the Placement Team will be held before an attendee is placed into the PIP, and again each time they are moved to PIP status. The purpose of this meeting is to assess the attendees’ current situation, review past performance, and provide actionable feedback and strategies for improvement.
In the event of termination or resignation from a job, attendees have the option to re-enter the Placement Cell for continued placement support at no additional cost. This ongoing support includes access to resources, guidance, and opportunities to find new job placements. To qualify for this support, attendees must first complete the Experienced-TOI and demonstrate prior engagement with the Placement Cell’s support services.
For attendees aiming to advance into experienced roles, Brototype offers the Experienced-TOI, a simulation of real-world interviews specifically designed for experienced developers. This evaluation prepares attendees for the challenges of advanced interview processes. Upon completing the Experienced-TOI, candidates will be assigned a dedicated Placement Officer who will provide end-to-end support throughout their placement journey. Brototype's Placement Team will actively share candidates' profiles with companies and coordinate interview scheduling, ensuring comprehensive assistance for their career advancement.
During post-placement support, if an attendee commits to an opportunity and is selected, it is expected that they accept the offer. By attending the interview and expressing interest, the attendee indicates their consent and enthusiasm for pursuing the opportunity provided. Offer trading is strictly not allowed, as it can jeopardize the relationship Brototype has with its clients. Maintaining integrity and respecting the commitments made during the placement process is crucial for upholding the trust and collaboration between Brototype and its client companies.
Brototype expects candidates to maintain active participation and demonstrate responsibility in securing their career advancements. To ensure the process runs smoothly and effectively, the Placement Team may need to discontinue support if a candidate is not responsive or fails to engage in the process as expected. By maintaining professionalism and dedication, candidates can maximize the value of the support provided and continue to benefit from future opportunities.
Attendees are required to share their placement details in any cases with Brototype and hereby consent to the public sharing of their personal and placement details on Brototype’s website and social media platforms, including, but not limited to, the use of videos, photos, company details, salary packages, and other promotional materials for Brototype’s marketing purposes. Placement details refer to any job placements or offers secured independently or with Brototype’s support, regardless of course completion.
